Chunky Monkeys
The timber for the balustrading has arrived. And it’s a lot. And it’s really big.
Similar to the feeling of arriving back from a supermarket expedition and filling up the fridge, a timber delivery is both comforting and daunting. Knowing you have lots of raw material to get your teeth into is a good feeling, but the realisation of how much work the sifting, sorting, lifting, machining etc will bring, can leave you, and in this case me, feeling overwhelmed.
I think its time to buy some fresh filters for the dust mask as this iroko is going to get everywhere. Oh and some fresh blades for some of the machines, as it’s so hard and tough on sharp edges. Best to just get on with it I guess!
